If you searched for “generic Levitra,” first check what the seller is actually offering. Brand Levitra was discontinued by Bayer (FDA determined in 2023 it was not withdrawn for safety or effectiveness reasons), so what you can buy today is generic vardenafil: an FDA-approved tablet, an FDA-approved orally disintegrating tablet, or a compounded chewable that is not FDA-approved. Levitra is gone; generic vardenafil is what you can buy
Bayer told FDA in letters dated 2019, 2020 and 2021 that it was discontinuing Levitra 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg tablets. In May 2023 FDA published its determination that the tablets were not withdrawn for safety or effectiveness reasons, the finding that allows generic versions to keep being approved and sold. A listing using the Levitra brand name needs clarification about the product being dispensed and the pharmacy supplying it. Who actually prescribes or dispenses vardenafil online
Most large ED telehealth brands built their menus around sildenafil and tadalafil. The table lists the services whose own pages, checked on September 16, 2026, offer vardenafil, with the format they supply and the price they publish. Compare a complete quote, not just a cost per pill
A useful quote identifies the formulation, strength, number of doses, billing interval, and services included. A subscription charge and a retail pharmacy price answer different questions. Medication, consultations, shipping, and renewal terms should be itemized before calling one option less expensive.
For illustration only: a hypothetical $48 order containing eight doses works out to $6 per supplied dose. Add a separate $12 shipping charge and that becomes $7.50. What the BlueChew source confirms—and what it does not
BlueChew’s FAQ lists vardenafil and identifies its products as compounded. It also describes recurring billing and says cancellation requests should be made at least 24 hours before renewal. Those are provider-reported terms, checked on the date below. The FAQ does not establish which formulation is medically suitable for you or provide a personalized treatment quote.
Bring the interaction questions to your consultation
- Bring a list of prescription medicines, supplements, and recreational substances; specifically mention nitrates or “poppers.”

How Vardenafil Works
Vardenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor that supports blood flow during sexual stimulation. It does not create sexual desire or cure the underlying cause of ED. The formulation and other medicines can affect how it is prescribed; do not change the dose or substitute a different format yourself.
